How often should dental X-rays be taken?
The need for dental X-rays depends on each patient’s individual dental health needs. Dr Somana and the team at Signature Dentistry will recommend necessary x-rays based on your medical and dental history, dental exam, clinical presentation, age and risk of disease.
Bite-wing X-rays (when top and bottom teeth biting together) are recommended once every one or two years depending your specific needs.
